FAQ About Catering Orders

The following are the most frequently asked questions about Select Sandwich’s catering services. If you have a question and don’t see it on the list, call any store location and feel free to email  us so we can add it to the website.

Q1. How do I place a catering order?

You may place an order online at our website or you may call a store to place your order with a Catering Coordinator.

  1. To find the list of store locations click here or click on Order Now to enter your postal code to find the store nearest you.
  2. If it’s an online order, on the specific store location page, click on “Order Catering Online” to begin your online order at the selected location, or contact the store at the number listed.

Q2: How early do I need to place my order? Need it fast. Just ask!

If you wish to place an order within 4 hours of the delivery or pickup OR require a next-day breakfast fulfillment and it is after 2:00 pm, please call the location near you and speak directly to the catering specialist to see if they are able to accommodate your request.

We request that you place your catering order, preferably 24 hours in advance.

If you would like catering for evenings and weekends, we ask that you give us 2 business days’ notice. For example, if you want the order for Saturday or Sunday, you must place the order by Thursday.

Q3: Can I get catering delivered?

Yes, all of our stores provide delivery. Delivery is free if it’s within the trading area of the store. We will make our best effort to accommodate your requested delivery time; to meet demand we may have to deliver up to 30 minutes early.

Q4: What is the cancellation policy?

Regardless of how you placed the order, by phone, email, fax or the website, if you want to cancel it, you must call the store directly. Refer to our please call the location page for the store’s phone number.

Orders cancelled with less than 24 hours before delivery or pickup are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. 

For example, if the order were scheduled for delivery at 11:30 am on Wednesday, you must contact the store by phone by 11:30 am on Tuesday to avoid the cancellation fee.

NOTE: Cancelling an order by fax or email is not an acceptable and the cancellation fee will apply.

Q5: Do the menu items contain allergens?

Select Sandwich is not an allergen-free environment. Our menu items contain or may come into contact with common allergens such as wheat, peanuts, soy, tree nuts, milk, eggs and fish.

Q6: Are gluten-free substitutions available?

A5: Please call the store to confirm gluten-free bread availability, selection and pricing.

Q7: Why do the photos on the website sometimes look a little different than what was ordered?

We do our best to represent the menu items as accurately as possible.

Q8: Are disposable serving utensils provided?

Yes. When you order online, you may choose not to have the utensils included. If you place an order by phone or fax, the Catering Coordinator will ask if you require utensils.

  • Soup: disposable bowls, spoons and a serving ladle
  • For Sandwiches, Entrees, Breakfasts: paper plates, serviettes, utensils
  • Appetizers: plates and serviettes
  • Salad: paper plates, serviettes and utensils
  • Desserts (for fruit platters only): paper plates
  • Boxed coffee/tea: cups, stir sticks, milk, cream, sugar and sweetener

NOTE: a large garbage bag is included with each order.

Q9: What is the order confirmation process?

If you order online or by fax, you will be called by the Catering Coordinator to confirm the delivery.

Q10: Can I place an online order without having an account?

Yes, you can check out as a guest. Upon check-out you will be given the option to create an account. Your account will allow you to:

  • review, repeat and modify past orders
  • save orders as drafts and submit when ready
  • pay online securely by credit card
  • receive instant order confirmation
  • store an unlimited number of delivery addresses
