I am truly happy with my Franchise and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Head Office is always there to help us at any time of the day no matter who we call.

My trade is a baker and throughout my career the hours were always tough for raising my two boys. With Select Sandwich I am able to get out of the kitchen and talk to people. I can now have much more time with my family and watch my boys grow to be men. I have owned my store for a year and a half and I already know that I will not have to worry about things like my son’s education and a roof over our heads.

We will continue to work hard and grow our business and the chain.

I came to Canada January 1, 2001. I arrived in Toronto with my wife, two daughters and two suitcases. I did not have much and came here ready to work hard and provide for my family. After not making a good living trying to sell cars, I needed a change. My wife worked for Select Sandwich for 2 ½ years and when I found out the store was up for sale I knew this was the opportunity I was waiting for. Since I purchased the store on May 5, 2004 I have put both my daughters through university and have moved into a larger home twice in 5 years. Head Office has always came out with new trends and ideas to keep my business moving forward. I know that as long as I work hard and keep my store up to standard I will not need to worry about the future. My store has recently had a renovation. The store looks great and I receive nice comments from my customers.

I started working as a chef in the hotel business. The hours were very demanding on my life. 15 years ago I started working for a Select Sandwich store on Lesmill Road. I got to know Brian Kahn and Carol Kahn very well because they visited the store often. I really enjoyed the business and wanted to have my own store one day. I also enjoyed the hours of operation because it gave me more time for important things in my life, like time with my family. 3 years later my partner Raj and I opened our own store. We have recently celebrated our 12th year in business and our store continues to do well to this day. Brian and Carol have always treated me like a son and I know I have become part of a family. I talk with other store owners and they agree with me that we have a terrific support system. Head Office has always taken the time to truly care about me, my family and my staff.
